Hey all,

I've noticed over the last few days that the mini drives alot better in this stinking hot weather.

Its pulls better in every gear. And seems to run smoother as well when cruising.

Any gueses what this might mean?

Timing out? Or a tuning issue with the carby?

It doesnt run badly normally. Its just strange its running better when its 30+ degrees outside

When the air is warm it is less dense, so maybe your tune is too lean? The thinner the air, the more rich the mixture is? :?

hot climates like leaner mixtures
cold climates prefer richer mixtures

Sounds to me like it's a bit lean already...
Stick a borrowed A/F ratio meter on it and go for a drive.
