Hey guys

Just sat here in the shed with a beer in my hand looking at the bare shell sat in front of me dreaming and planning on things I want too do to it.

Is it just me or does everyone do this?

Yeah, I do that.

The tough bit is picking up a tool to make a move towards the goal.

Yep, each day I go to the shed and say to myself I have got to finish my mini pick up.

Its been 5 years now. so this year before winter it should happen.

That's part of the mini addiction.

I've got a full size aircraft out of spruce going on here. Every single piece is unique, and requires its own jig to be constructed.
Starting every piece is a challenge. You have to keep moving, or you lose your place and your complex understanding of everything going on. Once you stop its a struggle to start again.

I have a A4 piece of paper which I add jobs to the bottom of. It never gets shorter, but helps to pick it all up again after a break. But it is hard to get back up again once that beer is in your hand.

Actually, am I going effeminate, or does anyone else prefer a cider?

So...is the plane called Goose?

(PS unless you drink scrumpy, then you are a bit girly drinking cider)

(PPS btw, cider gives you the worst hangovers imaginable because you are absolutely dehydrated...agghhhh...someone told me that  )

A girl told me that cider is good for splinters.
Every time she got a prick in her fingers she couldn't wait to get it in cider.

I've come to realize the cat and I suffer the same disease....It's called 'Inertia' and it's seems to be very progressive
and aggressive in hot humid weather.

Im all about cider these days, wouldnt know about hang overs though as i havnt been drunk in over 20 years just doesnt agree with me but I do enjoy a quiet cider or 2.

I find it extremely hard to leave the shed, often I will just pop out to the shed to grab something and come out several hours later...it's like a time warp in there! Get caught up looking at one thing or another.

I have a mate who rents his house out and lives in the shed with his minis. He is a smelly bastard though and god knows when a woman last looked twice at him.

I Normally sit there with the Beer AFTER I have Finished, Look at it and think,
"Hell You did a nice Job on that one"

I just snapped a piece of 5/16th ply I've been steaming for an hour when I tried to bend it in my jig.

Walks out of shed. Slams door.

You can actually do that because your work is so good. I usually look at it and wish I had the skill not to have done a 75% job.

I'm a cider drinker too and yes, I do just stare at the car for ages.
