The voltage regulator interferes with the brake booster if fitted on the guard where the plastic inserts are and it has to be mounted on its side so that it doesn't touch the hydro hose. Its mounted with self tappers into the side of the inner guard. No plastic inserts used here.
The heater valve should be the square ended one as in the brochure pic. There may be some NOS available somewhere. Some of the round ended type work opposite to the correct "Push" for heater. You have to "Pull" for heater.
The starter solenoid as mentioned is mounted upside down. There are at least 3 different types of these. The original round one in the brochure pic on early cars was changed to the square bodied one when Lucas Australia parts were used. This type also had a red/orange rubber cover over the end of the solenoid so you could activate the solenoid as per the early round UK type. Later ones did away with the rubber cover so you can't operate the solenoid.
Plug leads look right. ignition coil looks right. Should be a HA12 type and should have the full rubber boot over the HT lead and the LT terminals. Water pump pulley should be black as mentioned.
Heater hose clamps should be the wire type as used on the fuel hoses.
Top and bottom radiator hose clamps should be the utilux type.
The brake booster hose should have an embossed diamond pattern on the outside. The join in the booster vacuum tank clamp needs to be at the bottom so water can drain away. There are at least 2 colours of zinc passivation on the booster vaccum tank halves. Early cars had a bluish/silver colour and later cars had a more of a silver colour with just a hint of gold. I had mine replated but it is now too gold.
Later cars didn't get the master cylinder plastic filler extensions. It made it a PIA to top them up.
Horn mounting is correct. You can't mount it underneath because the wiring loom runs under the top of the bonnet opening panel.
Another little gem. Later cars didn't have the rubber draft flaps on the door drain holes. Early cars had a rubber flap held in place with a steel plate and self tapper. The holes for the self tapper are still there next to the drain hole.
This is all river counter type stuff as the original type of many parts are no longer available. The manufacturers have long disappeared or gone to other parts of the world.
Edit:
The brake booster cylinder was never painted black. It was left unpainted. Mine never had the "Coopers" transfer on the air cleaner box. I don't know if this was normal by then or mine was just missed out.
