Hi all Just wanting to know what temps people drive their minis in, and how they handle. I'm reluctant to take it out above 35 degrees, and wondering if I could push it to 40. Thanks |

Aslong as the cooling system is in good order you should be fine Matt! I took mine to launceston and back on a 38 degree day and she went perfect and the temp never went above normal on the gauge! Only thing is no air con, the car did better in the heat than I did, even with the front windows down and rear windows open! |

Yeah I pretty much drive my mini no matter what the temperature is. Like speedwell said aslong as your cooling system in good order you should be fine |

Seems to run well, but I do need to add a thermo fan. If I'm sitting in traffic, the temp gauge gets pretty high. |

They were designed to be driven everyday. The only reason a car can't e driven everyday is due to lack of maintenance. If you keep your car in good condition and fix things as they arise (preferably before), you won't have any problems. |

I took my mini out in a 38℃ day before christmas and it only ran between 90 and 98℃ on the gauge. |

I drive my Gt in any weather. Came home from coffs harbour 100+kms hr for many hours at a time in temps around 40°. Goes just over half way. My cooling system is awesome. I can flog it all day every day in 40+ temps and wont hurt it. |

You can always turn the heater and fan on to bring the temp down in traffic if you get stuck! However, a good cooling system and coolant, you should be fine! |

I take my 1360 beast out on 43-44 degree days and it will happily sit in traffic at about 90c with the thermo fan on. I do have a morris 1100 heater and it has been recently re cored. |

I'm in Perth and it's only ever the traffic that's a killer so I'm about to fit a thermo fan. I have also replace the radiator for a four core, used a six bladed fan and added a ten row oil cooler all of which certainly helped. |

The clubby is my only car. So I drive it to work every day regardless of weather. The only issue I have is needing a change of clothes when I get home due to sweating in the hot seat. |

And flayed skin left sticking to the vinyl ![]() i have a system where by I use a different finger each day to touch the steering wheel and the gear stick... this way each finger gets a few days "off" after each burn. I only have 1 bum tho, so there is no real alternative there |
