My Dad used to use this Mini in club motorsport back in the early 70's, thought i would see if it survives. Details as follows that may help identify it:
Colour - white over pale green (exact colour unknown)
Engine - 1275 of some description
Body - unique fitment of navigator's jesus handle on the roof outside (safety - nah needs something the hang onto in the corners with long arms

)
- It
may have had a half cage in the rear (everyone's memory is shaky on that one)
Wheels - 12 inch front wheels (supposedly off a Hillman Imp)
NSW rego - COL-310
Club - Western Districts Car Club (Sydney NSW)
My Dad's name is Rod McKellar (in case someone has ownership records) and he sold it early 1970's.
I was told it was built specifically for rallying, but Dad can't remember by who nor who he bought it from or sold it to.
The only photo i have scanned at the moment below, taken at a rallycross at HMAS Nirimba (Schofields NSW).

cheers
michael
