sorry cant tell you a date but 12A2D i think are low comp. SPi donks, not sure what the J33 represents though. it looks like a late engine being etched on and not on a plate

The guy selling is claiming it's out of 97 Rover Mini and has been converted to run on a 45DCOE.
The J33 has me stumped as well!
