I recently bought two new drip rails, Part Number HYA3262 and HYA3263 (or 14A8462) from KarCraft to fit to my car however when I compared them with the original I found that the profile was totally wrong. Karcraft advised me that the unit supplied was as manufactured in UK which is not the same as the Australian ones.

In order to ensure a proper match for my car I intend sourcing manufacture of some rails in Newcastle to the correct profile. Any one else interested in these, not sure of the price at this stage but as normal, the more made the lower the unit price.

I know your problem John.

I'd be keen for a better fitting set.

I have 2 pairs of these repro strips as both my GT's have had them removed by previous owners but they are too thick and different.

I remember seeing a restored car that had had these put on it and it looked horrible.

If made correctly I would be interested in 2 pairs depending on price

I am having difficulty in obtaining the shedder moulds in the exact same profile as most workshops can not put a 3mm (1/8") safe edge on the strips. However I an currently talking to one shop which believes he can make the part in the correct form, details may be available shortly. Indicative prices are less than those offered by KarCraft.

Will keep you posted.
