Guys what does it mean when you stop at lights and it feels like motor is going to stop but if i pull coke up only a few mm it runs fine. ( LEAN)
Plugs are very dry too.
Im going to install some new plugs tomorrow.
Dont know too much about the carby to play with it runs gine when its up and going.

There are two carby adjustments - there is the idle screw at the top of the carby which will change the amount of the air/fuel mixture going to the engine, and there's the mixture nut which changes the air/fuel ratio. You will want to wind the mixture nut out a few flats:

See the nut just above the plastic red end of the jet mechanism? Wind that out from the carby a little and see how you go.

That does sound a little lean to me. Wind the mixture out a little and it should improve.

Hmmm... that's probably not a good sign.

You will usually have cylinders 2 and three a little blacker than 1 and four due to the siamese inlets. Your plugs should look brown - if the plugs are black, that usually means it's running rich (or you're using too much choke)

One cylinder should not be that different to the others - but I'm not sure what would cause it.

Check the resistance of your plug leads, if any are over 5K ohm I'd bin them.

OK
new leads
new plugs
new oil (penrite 20w-5 Classic)
new wiring to coil
tuned the carby with Gunson Colortune (best tool so easy)
top up car with bio race fuel left over

wow car is ruuning really good now

All good , but which change actually fixed the problem ?

Not the best picture , but the plugs look a bit oily around the threads .
