I have holidayed in Mooloolabah for the last couple of years and have often been tempted to put it up on here for others in the surrounding areas to find a central spot and catchup and do the same . I am hopefully coming up again this year so i might chuck it out there ![]() |

How are you stripping it, the hard way with wire brushes, discs etc? If so you should concider soda blasting, I got mine done, well woth it. Cost $900 but that's inside and out and back to new steel. He soda blasts paint off a then sand(?) blasts the rust spots. If you add up the time/money/ground fingers/ skinned knuckles etc it's not so bad $ wise. Also, wire brushes etc don't get into cracks and grooves etc. |

I did by myself a sandblasting gun with a hoper for all the awkward areas. so slowly but surely. ![]() |
