You don't see many Minis with swing to the side sunvisors. Chrome swivel bracket on the outside, white plastic clip near rear view mirror. Any idea what years they were fitted?

i know an austin who has that, '64
another austin i know has an independant side one that flips down

havent seen them on morris' yet

Nup. This is definitely an Australian build Mark 1 Morris. Swing to the side sunnies for both driver and passenger. Square holes in rail above windscreen either side of interior view mirror for plastic clips to fit into. Body looks to be 1964/65, but it has many different dates on the usual places (eg boot lock, windscreen wiper motor). Body number stamp on firewall is unreadable - probably only readable if I took it down to bare metal, which I am not planning for a long time. ID plate is fitted but it obviously does not belong to the shell. No shields for hydo lines, clamp for spare wheel is not threaded. Battery cable runs in a channel alongside the exhaust tunnel. Wind up windows.

My 65 Traveller has the swing to the side sunvisors, and it's a Morris if that any help.
