Hay, it's not about the car, it's not about the venue, it's about the people that come here. Peter Dwyer, Mayor of Hay NSW.

Also this has a brake light on the dash, & twin 1 1/2 SU's, hinting at this being an ex-Police pursuit car. Not mentioned in the blurb.

Although only add-ons, pretty sure in the Mini Experience magazine somewhere they advised that the headlight- and wiper- extension toggles would have finished by Mk1 cars.

If that's an all Crystal White car, then that would be very bright in the sunlight, expecially with modern paints. Understand why they took the photos indoors.

Very nice car still.

I barfed a little when I saw the heater. He probably had the right one but the shell didn't come with the hooks to hang it on.

that could be the factory installed heater - they ran out of the big plastic one, and installed those before the clubman type became available. 10/70 would be the right vintage for that heater

edit: Ian Thompson in Sydney has an S that he bought new off the showroom floor with that heater installed. 80,000 miles. He still has the Aquajets that came with it

I believe that one had a build date of 11th month 1970.

I have a camino gold 10/70 with that heater as well. Information that I got from Ian Thompson was that the first car with the bullet heater was car 2537 so that is the correct heater.

Why do so many people call these cars ( Copper S ) , can they not spell ?

I damn sure i wouldn't be paying that much for it , be like a couple of others that have been through there , Pretty certain they didn't fetch their original asking price .

Shuzbutt! For that money I'd expect a bit better detailing.

Goodie, back in the 60's/70's, didn't the Police drive Copper S's? (sorry, couldn't resist it)

So how do the bullet heaters work, where is the fan switch and where is the screen/car lever control?
