I am thinking about putting grill buttons on, what are peoples thoughts about these? Do they make life a lot easier, making it worthwhile to put them in?

One of the first things I will do when I get a new Mini from wherever. The benefits are just so great for the low cost. You can check the dizzy cap on a whim.

Watch the cheaper chrome ones, they have seemed to lose their chrome in just a few years for me. The alloy ones are lighter and won't chip your paint either if you drop them onto the beaver when unscrewing them...

Is that to stop the grill sagging?

No Mick , more to do with , if for some reason the buttons fall off or get pinched the grill doesn't fall off .

Hairy muff...

I say that because I reckon I've got a little bit of sagging going on.
I think however its in sympathy to its owner.

are there more vibrations and noises from it being anchored from just the two side points?

I have two screws each side as well as the top two and have wondered about going for the grill button option and yep it's a pain to undo them all just to adjust something !

Yes that does look very sweet, quite like the green!

The two screws might be a good insurance policy.
