Any pointers on removing and replacing the glass in the rear quarters?

Sounds like you want to change the glass and not the whole window.

The windows set in their frames are a lot easier and plentiful. Mind you - that may depend on where you are...

I've never done one on purpose but I've dealt with ones that have fallen apart on me.
release the join behind the hinge, (how I don't know) then get a long flexi blade stanley knife and try to slice around both sides of the frame to release the glass from the frame.

Really it'd be easier to just replace them, why are you wanting to remove the glass from the frame anyway?

I've got a few sets of windows with glass if you want to change them.
