Hey guys!
So im trying to get off my inner pot joint and its being a pain in the ass!
Its leaking bad and thats the reason why i want to fix the seal.

Ive tried levering, crowbaring, hammering, but this thing is tough as guts.
Anyone got any ideas?

Cut a thin spanner like this `Gedore' to 1.250" wide.
Then grind both sides like a cold chisel.
Put it between the diff side cover and pot joint, and hit the other end with a BFH.
Turn pot around a bit and try again if no worky...

Works for me...

I've always used two big flat headed screwdrivers and levered it off.

Slightly off topic...
Matt,
Gafmo is having trouble getting the LH CV off the driveshaft so he can put his new S brakes on.
Usual hold driveshaft in one hand, hit CV with BFH and watch yer toes didn't work.
Any ideas? Or do we have to cut the (drum brake) CV in half to get at the *&^#^! wire circlip??

[edit]Decision made, I will drag the oxy out and do some surgery with the red scalpel.. 8)
