I have two vans from different ends of the woods, but they both have the same missing piece. Is this just by chance??? Or is this common for some reason? Directly in front of the starter motor. ![]() |

Check to seeing its been cut before or after chromingป. I have two grilles and neither of them are missing a piece. ![]() |

I thought it may have been to hit a bar onto the starter motor when the solenoid gets stuck?? |

You mean like a jamming bendix or sticky brushes?? Maybe... I can't see any other reason you would want a hole there. |
