Max was around yesterday for me to give him a hand with Bleeding the brakes...

While i was in therre i noticed that the LH Tie-Bar was a little loose... Umm NO Front Rubbers....ok, we'll replace that while I'm in there....

go to the RH side... Same deal except the bar was bent in TWO places... you'd kinda notice that, wouldnt you ? (The guy who just rebuilt the engine...Not Max) so replace that too ... On with the wheel and do the 6/12 Rock... Oh-oh ... A LOT of movement....
Upper and Lower Ball-joint, lower arm (Washer Rusted and disintegrated - lower arm loose!) and a few other "Tidy-up" jobs later and he was away!

Very happy boy, that little purple thing will be a wee-rippa to watch I think....
He has plans......

Just thought I'd share...
J

James is a dead set champ!! :D

Now I actually have brakes...and my mini doesnt dive off to the right everythime i accelerate or brake...and it takes corners waaaaaaay better.

Once rego cleans out my account I can start saving again and get this brand new 1 3/4 carbie setup... :D

James, you thought that Max's car was bad... Don't even get me started. I have a big box full of cracked/sheared/worn/broken parts taken out of my engine that were put in in that condition.

To anyone here in WA... DO NOT get an engine built by RoadCraft in Myaree. I don't care if this message gets deleted or I get in trouble for saying the name. I have deadset proof that the engine was (before Cono fixed it) the biggest P.O.S. in existance. It's not a bad rumour or spreading misleading lies about a company, it's factual truth. Not only do they have no Mini specific knowledge, they have no mechanical intellegence what-so-ever. Parts were heavily worn before being put into the engine. They cracked the harmonic balancer trying to jam it in the wrong way. They didn't do up nuts! Even I would've known to tighten the damn nuts! And that's only scratching the surface...

Anyway, a few rubbers and a bent tie-bar is N O T H I N G...
