I was reading about this new Penrite Classic Mini oil in the latest copy of BMC Experience. Anyone had any first hand experience? Or any general thoughts, comments etc http://www.penriteoil.com.au/products.php?id_categ=14&id_products=574 Cheers, |

I think its around 40 dollars a bottle when you see it. Valvoline have an XLD Classic. It doesn't have a picture of a mini on the front, so it sells on sale for around 11.99... I think there might be a connection between a picture of a mini and the price? We had a discussion about this a few weeks ago. The published spec doesn't seem to tell you anything to declare it as any different to another oil. The zinc content was actually lower than a competitors for good or bad. |

I put it in mine about 800ks ago, was $45 which had delivery on it, considered it life blood, so why scrimp?. My little beast seems to enjoy it, the engine and gearbox seem and sound smoother. I will buy it again.. Perhaps a negotiated group buy will cut out re profiteers and every one is happy...?? |

Your a slave to the mini marty.... im sure its just std oil bottled up for a marketing scam. I run penrite hpr 50. Usually pay $30 on trade price but really good clean oil. |

How is sticking a picture of a Mini on an oil bottle going to make the oil work any better? |
