Has anyone noticed any fuel tank straps which are single piece?
That is, no adjustment bolt halfway down the back of the tank?

The 1275 LS was fitted with one piece straps

What was the reason for it? Cost cutting?

Do you think it carried over in other models of the mini? Perhaps in the UK?

I would guess it would save money in material and labour to fit.
Yes The UK did use them
