Any one tried this on a Mini. My brother had one on his Cooper S bodied 1098 engined Mini many moons ago and quite liked it. Unfortunately that one went to the crushers when he traded the Mini on a Kingswood! (which he's since regretted dearly as it was an unmolested genuine MK1 S body and running gear that he got from Mini King at Blair Athol's wrecking yard in 1976 as they were only interested in retaining the Cooper S motor and gearbox for use in their speedway car).

Is this the same carb Vizard had poking out the bonnet on his 1970s racer?

The DGV is a down-draft, progressive linkage carb that provides both bottom and top end performance. The two barrels are different sizes for maximum economy when you don't have your foot into it and max performance when you want it! The down-draft feature allows for a good manifold to be fitted to the Mini with a proper air filter.

Redline sells them on ebay and they're available with manual choke, electric choke or water heated choke. There's a good selection of jets, etc
