Hey guys went and looked at a mini last night with a fellow ausmini member. I was sort of his advisor...
The good bits
The car is a 77 clubman sedan, licenced original paint in resonable condition original number plates immaculate interior original mint condition owners manual and service manual and appears to never have been f*#cked with.

The bad bits
Body has a bit of rust inner and outer a panels outer sill on 1 side rear valance corners and a few other bits, motor is out of car but looks ok and turns freely.

The original asking price was $2500 then dropped to $1300 and he paid $800.

Does this sound like a good deal.?

Cheers Rodney

Seems cheap, but whilst the motor looks ok, it could be an oil burner.....it has been pulled out for a reason!

For $800 you cant go too far wrong, but I agree with the above, if the motor is rooted he is in for a fair bit of spend unless he plans on rebuilding the engine himself.
