Can anyone tell me if there is a high performance, low drag, high temperature, lightweight, high revolution, low emission, high compression, sports yellow paint for rad fans? Barney's build is pretty wild so I don't want to under do the fan blades.

Of course I'll settle for the code/name of whatever supercrap pressure pack yellow is the norm.

:)

With a question like that , i'd say there's been too much Vino between the senior engineer , Jeff , and the junior apprentice   .

Hope the rebuild is going well , August is not far away .

I just stripped & painted a steel one for GB1275, we got some enamel mixed into a spray can at VG auto paints, colour is wattle.
It's pretty close to the BMC original.

Cost was around $25.

The supercheap spray paints (unless they've changed) always seem a little washed out. More like stencil paint.

The VG paint is very good to spray- has good pigment for a yellow, dries fairly quick, I gave it about 7 or 8 coats and it came up mint.

Paint code details on the label-
Make: Aust Standard
Code: Y12
Description: Wattle
Paint Group:2
Year: 1996 -
