A hint I ran across a little while ago. For rusty chrome parts, within reason. Take a piece of aluminium foil form the kitchen drawer, wet it with water and rub. Make sure you have washed all the dirt off the parts first to avoid unnecessary scratching. I didn't believe it at first, but it can work well. Brian |

Aluminum foil works way better than anything else I've tried, if there is any pitting or rust the alloy will shed and little pieces will fill the holes. I've had chrome that I thought would be nothing but scrap come up nice with just foil, I just crunch it up into a tight ball and rub it over the surface dry. |

Aluminium Foil with Coke is supposed to be the best combination. I have seen it used and worked great. |
