Does it reflect badly that I only just noticed we're ten years old? Like on the 16th of March?

This is for Version 2 which is the one that worked after a stuttering start after a few months on Version 1....

Last I looked it was February and I told myself I should remember this...I'm not even this bad with the Wife's birthday, and with that I am a shocker.

Anyway, 80,809 topics, and 922,052 replies. Most of them mini related. I'm glad Poeee kicked this off all that time ago, and I'm glad to see many of those early names are still around.

There's some choice posts hidden away in the annals as well...if only I could get this search to work on the new database  I'm still trying to work that out...

So I think we should celebrate. The 20 earliest Ausmini contributors who nominate themselves in a reply here will win themselves a very auspicious Ausmini keyring. The next 20 will score a nearly as auspicious Ausmini sticker. This is a prize pool that is in the value of over tens of dollars! Get them in. In a week or two I will add them up, and sort them out and grab some postal details then..

No minimum date, if you're around and posting as part of the community, then you're part of the big Ausmini gig.

Add an image in of some early diabolical mischief that Ausmini helped you sort out when you first joined, or some other tidbit. There's one image of a geelong member his mother still is trying to have erased from the web. When I find it it will take pride of place once again. He will know who he is...

So thanks to everyone for all your dodgy advice and half baked ideas, you're all part of what has made this place my favorite website on the web :)

cheers

Mick

i found v1 during the sleepless nights while Jen was having treatment for cancer in 2003. here i am up late again looking at ausmini. a fair bit greyer, maybe a tad heavier, but still able to kick a ball around with the twenty year olds.

i have kept one mini the whole time and been through two others at either end of the production and technology scale.

i have been to europe and back with a mini always with ausmini in tow.

i don't need another keyring. but thanks for the thought.

did teh camel ever come back from mongolia?

has anyone ever seen this cool yellow khana mini?

cheers
michael

The Camel had a baby the other day in fact, and is back home for a little I believe.

I'd love a key ring or sticker, this site is great to keep motivation up for my own project and also a great way to get lost reading lots of useful and amusing information!

It's a bit tamer than it once was.
Some of the miscreants are no longer regular contributors- paging Michael Cushway, paging Cush

Crazy, 10 years, i watch another forum that since 2009 has collected 24 members.
I've made many friends through this forum, had help and helped solving problems, at one stage my daily post count got over 20, its a bit lower now.

Boobs thread.

I nominate tom11111 for a sticker, he doesn't have one for his hilux tow car, and he can't remember the password...
