Certainly is. A pity I have NFI what number the door lock and boot lock are. [I carry 3 keys for my car].
I might have to drive to Mini King to find out!

[edit] My door lock and boot keys are recuts so I've no idea what the numbers are. But they are not the same.

With old lock barrels you can often just use a similar key, especially if they're worn. I can use my key from our '86 hilux on my sister's '92 camry.

It's also typed with the other car details in the front of the driver's handbook.

You've still got the original driver's handbook for your car, right?

As drjbeam implied, you can swap the pins over from other barrels to make it fit the key you have, if you have enough to pick from.
I did that with my boot lock after changing the door locks to Solex. Wish I could've put a Solex on the boot too. :(
