The pastic with bearings ones are much better than the rubber ones..... especially if your car has oil leaks. On my old clubby, I put some new rubber ones in without fixing all my leaks....... they only lasted a couple of months. Haha |

Just check to see if the bearings in the metal/ plastic ones are moving freely and have enough grease. Its hard to tell from your pic if they are in good condition. |

You can replace the U/J once you pull the cups off. It's a TriumphTR6 U/J, common p/no is GUJ102. Karcraft # RTC3458/1 Current Hardy Spicer number is K5-L4R |

I've just swapped over to a set of the needle bearing ones. The part number above (GUJ102) from Karcraft are $17 each for good brand ones (GKN). Mine had slightly different u-bolts for each set though, one were a bit thicker and the other a bit thinner, and fit the plastic cups better. New inners on the left, old ones in the middle and rubber ones on the right: ![]() |
