With them saying "the new original" I can only assume the mk1 Bini is what they are reffering to as the "original" that they have now remastered and this is the current result.
It's like using a cassette to record a song off the radio then dubbing that onto other cassette and so on. It'll just get worse and worse :roll: .

I'm pretty sure VB Commodore fans don't see too much similarity between their cars and VF Commodores, either.

The problem that will never go away is there was no "evolution" from the classic to the modern. The classic mini finished production than BMW started production on a 100% new car, nothing related.

Maybe go and take one for a test drive guys! Sure they're not a classic mini incarnation or evolution but for a modern small car with character, style and performance to me I feel they've tapped the mini spirit effectively.

No ones saying buy one....
