Why not use clubman one, shouldn't be hard to find.

I do like the look of it. Low profile and all. It sits right up and out of the way.

It looks well made, I bet it works better than a Clubman one too.

I kept the std MiniMatic freshair heater, stuck a 3" Attwood bilge blower in the air duct behind the heater, then put a VH44 booster under the dash. I can pull the motor out without disturbing the booster or its plumbing.

Plenty of legroom still and the brakes work great!

It does indeed look like a tidy unit and it would be easy to install under the dash per the video on the mini-mania site.

Oooh I like that idea of putting the booster under the dash and leaving the heater in situ. I'd not even thought of that option! I'm guessing you have it tucked up nice and high... Do you have it on the passenger or driver side Doc? You wouldn't happen to have a wee piccy at all?

Sorry I can't get these links to show here as pics, since flickr `improved' their website. :x

There are 2 std Mini front brake hoses from the booster up to the bulkhead plate.
I had to put a 7/8" holesaw thru the bulkhead to allow 2 pipes and the vac hose.

The hard lines are 750mm and 950mm? I think, I got the local brake shop to make them and I bent them to fit in.

Bilge blower I used is here, it is all plastic but has handled the heat for the last 10 years.
It's a bit noisy but you really only need it in traffic when stopped.

Note the nose of the booster points uphill a little for easier bleeding.

[edit] bloody typo...

Wait till their considered retro and you'll feel in touch with your youth again.

I've got some original volleys here somewhere. They're still new and date stamped from the 70s 8)
