Have searched for a thread here but cannot find. I have a pretty good condition morris bonnet badge. but the colours are faded. I was looking if anyone knows the colour or similar available. Also if people have tips on methods of painting. Thanks |

The hobby and toy stores sell little paint tins that smooth out when applied with a fine bristled brush. I can't help with the exact colours. |

I used the following which was an exact match: Tamiya Color Acrylic XF-8 Flat Blue Tamiya Color Acrylic X-7 Red Tamiya Color Acrylic X-2 White I painted the bits and it is hard to get it neat but just let it dry a couple of days the rub over the top with a green scourer and it takes off the over paint, works a treat. I have also restored the morris logo in the horn push which came up well. |

Try the discount pharma stores for ladies nail polish. they are hard wearing and come with a brush and only cost a buck. I used them on a GT badge and it really made it pop! |

Just another question for all the gurus out there. do most use any sort of sealant on the back of the badge or just use the retaining clips? |
