G'day
i was just wondering what i should do to get all the dents out of my mini i have some pretty bad ones i was thinking i could get a profecional to fix them but then my m8 said i should just bog them up sand them back and paint the what should i do?

where are the dents?? if they can be tapped out so they are nearly perfect and then a light bog that should be fine. Dont bog anything more then 5mm deep i say.

Like Brad says,
thick bog will either crack or break off.
(doesn't do much for weight either)

The dents are all over boot lid, front corners (don't know where that came from) sides as i said every where except roof thank god lol bonnet is bent and dented bonnet hinges are dented lol damn thing attracts dents lol and every time i try to fix something the dam thing seems to bite me i always get cuts scratches from the evil little thing

Might be cheaper to replace the bonnet if its that bad... there seems to be enough of them around.. i think

do it professionally, i have a pretty bad dent and i keep putting bog over it and it cracks away within a week

If you have dents 5cm (50mm) deep, I doubt it looks much like a Mini any more :lol: but even professionals need a skim of bog to get a good surface. I would put the limit for a dent at less than 1cm. Anything deeper than that should be banged out. Things like boots and bonnets, I'd just get a newer one.

Well they would because they have forgotten what a planishing hammer and dolly is. Before bog we had lead and that was heavy. It was expensive so the dents got fixed properly.
