There are a few real Cooper S's that have been restamped with N--P numbers. Its a shame. See them from time to time at show and shines. Most of the ones I have seen were 1969 models that didn't have an ID plate. The liftup door handles were late cars so this should have had a plate. Anyone seen this car before? |

It does say "Replica" so the buyer has been told , as far as the car goes , tidy looking unit . |

If it is a 1970 car, then it has to be a December 1970 build with those doors. The change over happened in December, my K is the same, a December 1970 build. Were matics built then? |

Looks good. My genuine 1970 Cooper S looks a lot less like a real S than that does. Be interesting to see what it sells for. |
