So I was lucky enough to be put in contact with a bloke who was going to start a motor museam but never got around to it and is selling off his cars. He had a Riley Elf for sale which interested me but once I chatted with him he said it was on hold for someone.

I was bummed out but he then says I have some other bmc cars

I went to have a look today and have bought a 1964 Wolesley Hornet, a rare mk111 Riley Elf convertible and what appears to be a genuine Cali moke. My collection is starting to look very nice but I dont need 2 Riley Elfs so my current one will be up for sale soon.

I will add better pics once the cars are out and in the light of day. They have all been parked up for over 20 years.

I'd love to know what the story is with the convertible Riley Elf. Crayford did some Elfs as well as the more famous Heiz Hornets, but at a guess I don't think this is one of theirs

Triumphs, Fiats, Mercedes, Harley Trike, Corvette...apparently the exotic stuff has already sold lambos etc.

Yes that was my first thought too but dont think it is a Crayford. It was stuck right in the corner, no room to get a good look at much. Hopefully once it is at home I will put some pics up on here and facebook and see what info comes to light on it. Was last registered in South Australia.

At this rate Jas your signature is going to start taking up an entire page every time you post anything!

Does he still have an old Lambo or was that already sold?
