Hi all
I want to put retractable seatbelts in the deluxe and am wandering which ones people have fitted
The top and bottom mounting points aren't quite in line but I think I could get away universal 90 x 90 degrees mounting
Also stalk length of 250 or 300 mm seems about right.
Let me know which ones you used and any other fitting tips

Thanks in advance

I'm no help to you guna but am interested in the responces as well. I also have a deluxe and had thought about doing something like the clubman ones with the retractor mech in the rear side pockets. Not real easy to put a mounting in the pocket though. But if it were easy then everyone would do it.

The pocket mount used on Clubbies is a captive nut welded to the inner sill.
Do NOT attach mounts to the pockets, you will tear them off the floor as you exit thru the windscreen.

I have Klippan 1214? or 1412? retractables in my `Matic, I put both the reel and the belt end onto the normal lower mounting.
I needed to shorten the reel plate and re-drill the hole, so it misses the door pocket.
Stalks are 12".

Will find pics-

I didnt explain well enough. I wasnt mounting to the pocket. But to the sill inside the pocket. Pocket just hides the retractor. Oops

Ah OK. Reason I mentioned it was when we bought Barney, the PO had mounted the retractable reel by just drilling a hole in each pocket and putting a nut inside...!

Jut make up L bracket and hide it inside as well. The klippan ones fit well, also make detractors for parcel shelf mounting

No one plans on having an accident but safety should always be a priority. Can enjoy your lovely mini if your a dead! I have welded in clubby seat belt mounts in for the rear and just sorting the front ones out now. See how I go on the weekend and will post some pics.
