The UK 1959 Register had them on their website:

90 pounds for a pair of rear ones, and 55 pounds for each of the side pocket ones!!!

A Japanese site had some as well...

Thanks mate. I am really after the wicker type for my pommie 1964 Cooper so the Jap ones don't fit the bill.

I am sure I had seen these things for sale somewhere.

Yup, much prefer the gearbox.

I did see those baskets....looks like they were made in a sheltered workshop during a blackout....no thanks.
