Just woundering what tyers other people are using out there?
Im running simes tyers in a 175/50/13 at present but find them a tad crappy in wet condtions and not to good in the dry iether so now ive ordered two yokohama
a539's for something different.
Anyone else running these and if so how are they?
If these arnt any good ill just go for the perallis as ive hered these are good also.
Ive bourght the yok's and paid $175 per tyer.
Is this too much?thats fitted and ballanced and all set up on the car $350 total. for two tyers.

yes im running the SIME tyres in 175/50/13 too... they are pretty crappy tyres but you get what you pay for and for $75 a tyre you really cant go wrong. Have done 12 000kms on them now and seem not to wear at all.
I have recently seen a set of 13x7 wheels on ebay and they have 195/45/13 DUNLOP tyres on them,, and im dead keen to get a price on these tyres.

Another option for racing, or drag racing is the toyo PROXES RA1in 195/60/13..... Ive got a quote for $180 a tyre and will probably grab 2 of these for my car next time im out at the drags. They are a street legal tyre, but desinged for fast warm up racing, like supersprints, hill climbs and drags.

Fastest fwd on street tyres in australia runs them and ran 12.5?? i think.

Im runnin A539's at the momment, they seems like a good tyre, but as with most Yokys, they are soft and wear a little quicker. I used to run A008's on 10's and it was the same deal, good tyre but wear quick.

I have these yoko's on mine.. Not too sure what model yoko tyre they are but they are 175/50/13
Does anyone know from the pics below what type of yoko tyre they are?
And i havnt driven on them yet but they do look good, but i think they are a little narrow for the 13 x 7's

Cheers
Daniel

hey all
i run falkens, i think they are great, good grip in the dry, and they wear dam good. I do find they are a little slipery in the wet but you just have to be careful.

Cheers ryan

13x7 in the wet, would they be noticably better than my 12's?
I'd get a good brand, that's all I ever get.

I reckon they'll aquaplane more, so be worse in the wet.
