Valvoline XLD Classic works for me. I used to use Castrol's GP50>Formula R 25W50>Edge Sport 25W50 (all the same oil, different marketing) but when the price per can got silly I went to KMX 20W/50 and then Valvoline XLD Classic. All these oils maintain good pressure when hot even freeway running, without an oil cooler. Unlike Castrol GTX...... ![]() |

Sweet need something that can handle some moderalty hard driving and a lot of freeway driving. I'm on the freeway almost every time I drive it cos of where I live and my mechanic (father in law) lives 150km away. So plenty of 1.5 hrs trips at 90-100km/hr. |

I'm a big fan of Castrol edge 25w50. I have found it gives me better hot oil pressure at idle, plus oil usage is better than "other 20w50 oils" I've tried. It's just what I have found that works for me in my car. |
