Trying to get a custom cover made, so it fits like a glove. Any chance anyone has had this done? or Had their mini 3D scanned or taken all the measurements humanly or mechanically possible?

I have had a couple made. They aren't cheap but do "fit like a glove" Were made from measurements taken straight off the car. I use a pure cotton cover as a dust cover so it wont scratch the paint (around $350) and have ordered another cover to put over it made from fleecy material (tracksuit material) to go over the top $300. Will send you pics if you want.

Historic car covers here in melbourne I've heard good things never seen one but word of mouth is pretty good. No website tho. Pretty sure the lady works from home. Might be able to make it and post it up to you.

Note: it is gonig to be an outside cover I got a quote from Cover King in the US for the "top" model (http://www.coverking.com/custom-car-cov ... armor.html) I used a base of the new mini's, they responded with $450 USD, BUT they do not have the pattern for the old Mini's D=.

Do you still have all your measurements G?

I've heard good things about the ones from aseriespares (from UK forums where the sun isn't as harsh):

The fella from the site has signed up here to and has a 15% off code in here on the 2nd page:

If its an outside cover that is a different thing. I got one from the UK which is waterproof. Its built for the rover mini so has 2 wing mirror pockets in it but fits beautifully and is water tight. Will have a look at the tag on it when I get home and let you know who made it.
