Post subject:  Upper radiator hose
I am in the middle of dropping the cooling system and replacing the thermostat, rad cap and upper radiator hose. I am getting rid of the tacky chrome braid which covers the original rubber hose.

I thought I'd be a flash murray and fit the Mini Spares silicone upper radiator hose.

But now that I've got the old one off..... I don't think I've been sold the right one?

I purchased C-GRH247BLACK

Has anyone fitted this type of upper hose? Do I have the incorrect one?

1275 smog head with 3 core radiator and engine steady.

I think that one suits an early radiator, where the outlet is right up the end.

850 style!

Yep you bought the wrong one. The old one is the right shape for a 1275 head.

Emailed Mini Spares, showed them pics, they agree its the incorrect hose, the correct hose was sent out yesterday. Pretty pleased with that service!!! Was 6mths ago I bought it and just noticed it now....

I purchased a rocker shaft that wasn't drilled out properly for the split pin hole. No big issue but they sent another just incase it was no good. Very happy with their service.
