Does anyone know if there is a free online service manual for a 65 mini deluxe, or any mini for that matter, as i'd rather not blow fifty bucks of my budget if i dont have to

cheers

I recall JAM having an electronic version of the manual. Can't find the thread but surely someone has a pdf. I remember a discussion about being able to take one page out to the shed and not messing up your entire book.

yes Andy....was just about to say I have 2 PDF manuals. Both are 18mb

They were uploaded to kazjim's server for all to download.

Give Kazjim a PM and ask if he is still hosting them.

I gotta big thick black and blue workshop manual. It's got all the yellow addons up to the end of 71 in it.

If the red ones were for the workshops, what were these ones used for?

Red loose leaf binder was early one (I have one too..) it covers only 850, Mini Cooper 997 & 998, and Mini Cooper S.
p/no AKD4061A.
I reckon it's dated ~1965.

Then there was a blue one that covered later models.. not sure after that.

I find the Gregorys #64 is pretty good- it covers the Oz door mechanism where most others don't, and the wiring diagrams are correct for all Oz roundnose cars (where the others use Pommy reprints)..

My blue one is AKD 4935 (5th Edition) from 1970.

It's deals with the clubman and clubman GT models as well.
A bit early I thought for this manual to deal with these models though.
