Post subject:  Twin HS2 choke setup

I'm going to look at fitting a choke cable to my twin HS2s in the hope it makes for easier cold starting. I notice on the end of the throttle shaft where the throttle linkages/brackets are etc. There is a screw with a spring around it which appears to be to adjust how much the throttle opens when the choke is operated. The choke linkage has a rounded off section at the end like a cam and appears to contact the screw to allow for extra throttle opening.

What is the suggested set up for the choke assy? How much should the throttle should open? Or is this something that is set up with engine cold running on the choke? Any suggestions?

Thank.

The idea is the choke has two stages, pull a part way for a faster idle and pull it all the way for choke.
Probably set it up when running cold.
