oky doky,,, so,,, who would like to come to the ReadSpeed MiniMecca re-opening launch party?

& when would you like it?

I`ll be talking with the 3x mini car clubs up here in Brisbane about their calendars shortly
to see what`s the most appropriate weekend, we will be talking with all the mini & Moke forums to try to let everyone know & hope to work with them & around their weekend activities
maybe even make it a run to end up at ReadSpeed.

The new shop is going really well, we have the Mezzanine floor all finished
2x new hoists up & working,
heaps of new parts are filling the place every day
the 2nd hand parts will take me quite a while
i`ve moved most of my MiniMan Equipment in
there is constant action happening all day every day
we`ve even painted inside all ReadSpeed colours--> red-white & Blue. like it was back in the old "UniPart" days

the re-opening is looking like happening in a few weeks time

i`d like to have a run in my buggy at Noosa HillClimb late next month (26th July) so i was looking at Having the launch party either the weekend before Noosa, or the weekend after.

anyone have any thoughts to what they`d like to see & do at the Party?
we were looking at least a sausage sizzle, a Mini hub-cap throwing competition
lots of parts going out at sooper dooper special re-opening prices
open the new shop up so everyone can have a look through the whole place etc

anyone have any other ideas?
cheers
Matt

Sounds good Matt,
Look forward to coming down for a look. Any day is a good day. Perhaps a Sunday? That way people don't have kids sport, work etc getting in the way.
Greg

Agree with Greg, Sunday would likely work best for most people. only wish one of my Three minis was on the road to bring it along to the event!

So what, sort of a mini mini meet re-opening BBQ? I don't have a mini yet but if my dad is free, i'll bring him with me. Make it official so i can get my calendar sorted! I tell you something, it'll be a hell of a lot easier having you guys within an hours drive in comparison to shipping parts up from minisport or something(if and when i get my mini of course).
