They work well but a tip is to put a little thread tape on the bleed nipple so it doesn't suck air in the thread.

That might be a good idea actually. I have one of these, and I never had much success with it. I got it to work well sometimes, other times it just wouldn't work at all. Always ended up getting a friend to pump the pedal while I was under the car with a spanner.

I put thread tape on the threads when i put in the new wheel cylinders and done clutch slave as well last year
