Does anyone have one of the original KAD Quickshifts from the late 90's?

If so, can you remember if you had to fit the plastic cup piece from your original stick? I have this funny feeling that I had to? Might have to go pulling the carpet up and sus it out.

I had to use the plastic cup, spring and the lock down metal collar with mine. That would have been in 1997ish!

Yep ok. Yeah I think it was 1997-1998 I fitted mine. Do the new ones not require that cup/spring etc? I have a feeling my cup was not in the best condition.
