I am struggling to undo the drain plug on my fuel tank, just not enough room to get my hand and a spanner in.
What tool should I use? Do I need a specialist tool? Or do I just need to sweat, swear and bleed a bit more?
Cheers
Stu.

It will come out usually with the drain attached. Undo the strap completely and wriggle the tank around.

You need a tube spanner which is long enough to reach over the long drain tube to reach the nut section.

Or do what I did. Plan in replacing the plug anyway as it will probably be rusted. That leaves you free to use a pair of side cutters the trim the tube to to the desired length. If you still have problems a standard socket will now fit over the plug.

drive a screwdriver up the tube and undo with multiegrips
if the tube snaps off , then you can get a socket over the nut
I think John at Minikingdom on line still has new old stock of these drain plugs
