Nice find. Quick question - not trying to start up the usual oil wars but... I've been running the Penrite Classic Mini (20W-50 Mineral), but lately down here in Melb it is sooooo cold the poor Mini runs a bit rough at startup, with quite high oil pressures until she is well and truly warmed up. I've never tried the XLD classic, but hear a lot of good things about it. Would you still run this XLD 20W-50 in the arctic extremes of Victoria? My mini is a daily driver. |

Yeah it's fine year round, just take it easy when cold for a km or so until the oil warms a bit. |

I've been told that penrite hpr 30 is good. Not sure why but my engine builder said to use it. What are your thoughts? |

Doesn't xld premium have all the additives we are trying to avoid? Premium seems to be more readily available. But I've always avoided it |

Gfs old man works at repco and they don't stock classic just premium. They looked up there computer n they told me it's the same just a "newer" blend/model/type but the same. |
