I think the coolant may be blowing out the cap? anyone run more than 13lb caps? |

13lb cap is plenty. If you fill it right up they do blow a bit out when hot the 1st time, due to expansion. When it cools the level will drop back, but next time it's run the level will rise to full again. The top tank should only be 1/2 full when cold for this reason, there is a level marker inside the tank. [hint] The ring inside the neck where the cap seats must be clean. Rub a bit of 180 grit or whatever paper round it, check it is unmarked, then fit a new cap. |

You've been playing with head gaskets too, you lifted the head off three times I think? So watch for the level going lower than the top of the core tubes, you might have a bit of blow by going on. |

Have put a 15lb cap with an added rubber washer under the cap bottom. doesnt pump coolant out now. but does leak slightly around where the cracks are present in the filler neck. Back to the shop for him. yeah Mick you can count well. I think if you go to link for a head gasket tomorrow you may be disappointed. |

If you mean the Moke/Morris 1100 pressurized overflow bottle then its the GRC126 Flat Cap. http://minisport.com.au/moke-and-mini-w ... diator-cap Or are you after the modern type bypass recovery, from the plastic bottle? |

CPC don't have one, at least not in the standard mini 80mm x 27mm (long neck) and I haven't found another yet. I'll have a bit more of a look around. |

Yes, there are short and long neck radiators. Our rads were long neck ,so unfortunately the 22 mm won't seal on the long necks. |
