Hi Folks, can't find an answer anywhere for this one. Do the UK door card and interior panel kits work for our deluxe, mini ks etc?

Yes they do fit . Newton Commercial will also make an 'Aussie' trim kit for you. I had one made and its a very good fit, the only difference is the material has a slightly different grain to the original Aussie trim

You really only need the special order if you are getting the complete kit (seats etc). The door cards and other trim are same as Aussie ones. You would need to ask them for a price if getting the complete kit . I got mine a few years back when the exchange rate was a lot better

remember we have wind up windows, they don't. You need to make sure that you get the correct door cards.

EDIT: I was referring to external hindged doors.

Mk3. The UK wind up door is a totally different door to the Australian ones.

I do like Newtons claim of 64 to 71 when they only fit 65 to 70.
But they only really look like the 67 to 70 ones.

Send an email to Jonny Newton at Newton Commercial. [email protected]. I spoke to him at the IMM2014 and they can do Aussie kits, although the cloth and carpets were of a different grain and they only had a few colours which would match for Aussie cars. So it depends on your model and colour?

Thanks. I've got a 65-67 Deluxe. Only just bought it. Will work out the exact year soon. Havent decided the colour yet.

Anything else worth getting from Newton? Headlining, carpet, bonnet insulation etc?
