Hi, I was just curious is there anyone that can direct me to somewhere that can supply me with the original build data/sheet or 'birth certificate' of either an approximate 1965?!?! Morris Mini Deluxe or early to mid 1970's square nose. None of the cars I have are high end models like Coopers or Clubman GT. I'm just interested to see what options were fitted to my cars & hopefully confirm if they are still original & not modified. Any help is appreciated. Cheers Brad |

Send a PM to John Sneddon with the chassis number. He's a Mini guru compiling a detailed list of Mini production in Oz and may know. |

unfortunately all factory records were destroyed when the company stopped the last of its local manufacturing, barring a few bits and pieces. a few people like Watto, John Sneddon, winabbey and Morris1100 have forensically pieced various bits of info together to try and work out what was built with what and when. |

http://www.heritage-motor-centre.co.uk then click on the archive services tab, I know your after locally produced vehicles, but this may help other members, hope this is useful. try that, I sent off an application and what I got back was a birth certificate for my car, well worth the cost. |
