Hi guys, Wondering if anyone is running the 7.9" vented rotors with 4 pot calipers under LP883 or LP918 rims? Secondly, do you need to alter anything with the hydraulics (master cylinder, bias) when running these? Thanks |

I don't think u will be able to run 7.9's under those rims. I'm running vented 4 pot 7.9 brakes and they clear my 10x6 split rims with ease maybe 1/2 inch clearance. I've tried them with a set of contessas and it fits but by the slimmest of margins, maybe a 1mm clearance. Anyway interested to here what others have to say. I think if you search google and look up kad brake template there is a printable drawing which gives you a good idea what brakes will fit. I didn't have to alter anything with my hydraulics. Hope this helps. |

I tried some different wheels over some minisport vented 7.9's at Hay last year when Neil from Cooper S Imports had some. None of the 10" wheels I tried fitted |

Not much point offering 7.9s then. Might as well go with 8.4. ![]() |
