When I got my licence a million years ago, I wanted the best car money could buy. Since I only had $65 so I bought a mini. Loved them ever since. |

Was competing at a Hillclimb at Amaroo Park (Sydney) in 1982 in my Datsun 1600 Rally Car and had my arse well and truly handed to me on a plate by a whole bunch of Mini's. The Mini infection was caught then, and whilst it took me a while to really get serious about Mini's, the disease of Mini obsession is well and truly now coursing right through my veins. |

Got my first moke when I was about 11. Found out they shared alot with the mini and was hooked from there. Don't go a day without a thought of Mini running through my head. |

A fellow at school got one in white with red stripes and essentially no floor. I just loved their shape. I loved how accessible they were, you can open the rear passenger side window from the front seat. I liked them all around. Still do. |

was at Calder Raceway, and watching Peter Manton beat all comers and even held the lap record of 58.6 sec, on the old short race track, and ever since I just wanted a mini. |

I was 10 years old when I got a drive of Warwick Agustin's rally Cooper S at a WDCC Christmas motorkhana in 1982. The adults were doing this as a treat for all the kids there who they figured were capable. I remember distinctly that it was the Trefoil and at each flag Warwick yanked the handbrake on and yelled "hit it" (meaning throttle) to get us around. It was an absolute ball and I have been hooked ever since. |

Have always had a mini or riley elf in our family growing up in nz, have always loved them. My old man was a copper back in NZ, there is a movie goodbye pork pie which when it was released that weekend over 10 yellow minis were stolen from around the country! |

I got into Mini's at a very young age. My first ever memory of being in any kind of car was when I was about 2 or 3. My mum and dad picked up a white Mini K (last of the roundys) and I was put in a car seat and apparently I was just so excited and happy and fell in love then. Since then The Italian Job and Mr Bean helped continue my love as a child and family always owning them. |

My oldest brother had raced mini's in speedway & road racing years ago , so when i was about 16 he picked up a Morris 1100 for me at the right price, as a first car . He had it parked out the back of his service station and one night some deadsh!ts jumped all over the roof of it and destoyed it . Next thing i know he found me a mini deluxe for $200 and thats how i become hooked on them , have had 4 mini's + 1 moke since in 30 + years . |
