Can anyone tell me the width of a mini, including standard flares. I would assume round nose and clubmans are the same. I've been searching the net and can't find it, only standard mini's. Or maybe someone on central coast that I can measure.

so you want the exact overall width of the widest part of a MK2 Cooper S or Leyland Mini S (or LS, SS, 1275 LS etc.) with standard wheels fitted and standard front wheel camber?

I could measure my MK2, I have standard wheels but I have 1.5* lower arms so the bottom of my wheels poke out a bit further than standard... I also have a008 tyres which are pretty wide compared to what were the standard tyres

Minis are usually widest at the bulge at the bottom of the front tyres, kinda like a cats whiskers I guess - if the tyres fit, then the rest of the car will fit

My car's in Qld and I'm trying to built a trailer and get ramps etc in right place. My tyres stick out so the flares just cover tread, so I'm guessing an 1" wider than Std cooper s should be the right width.

Thanks Goodie, I'll go with that measurement. I didn't want to make trailer too narrow, for obvious reasons, but not too wide that it takes up too much room. I'm going to make ramps width such that it'll fit an orange box when I get one, right up to the widest 'legal' width. (1600mm?)
